SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (July 1) BUSINESS WIRE -July 1, 1997--American Nortel
Communications Inc. (ARTM) has signed an agreement to purchase Global
Telecom International Inc.

Global Telecom is a 1+ long distance provider located in Mississippi.
Among the assets of Global Telecom is a customer base of several
thousand customers which will be converted to the American Nortel
Communications system. Gross sales are approximately $100,000 per
month.

CEO Bill Williams stated, "I am excited about this acquisition, as it
takes the form of many other acquisitions now being considered to more
quickly increase sales and profitability of American Nortel
Communications."

Scottsdale-based American Nortel Communications Inc. is a provider of
long distance value services such as international callback, travel
cards, debit cards, voice mail, fax, and call-follow-me services. In
addition, American Nortel Communications Inc. installs proprietary
equipment in major markets throughout the world to provide niche
telecommunication services.
