I'd like a macro record program to record some keystrokes in a script and then have Win2k's task scheduler run the script at midnight.

My dialup connection logs me off every 8 hours. I want to record keystrokes to double click the net connection status icon in the tray. When that pops up click disconnect and then click close window. It reconnects automatically on disconnect so that puts me on a midnight, 8am, 4pm cycle that's a lot better than random.

Is this feasible? Where can I get a freeware or shareware macro recorder to experiment with? TIA for the help, MM

BTW, if this works there are other programs I'd like to shutdown and restart daily because they work better if I do that. This could be kool if it works! : )
