CDMA Development Group Executive Officers to Review Achievements Made in 2001 and Provide a Look at What's Ahead During Live Webcast

Scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17

WHAT: CDMA Development Group (CDG) executive officers will participate in an online discussion to review the advancements made in CDMA wireless technology during 2001, as well as provide a look ahead to what the industry should expect in 2002.

CDG officers will recap highlights from the past year, including the continued roll out of 3G services with CDMA2000, the development of cutting-edge wireless applications, and the delivery of innovative 3G devices. The event also will take a look at the progress of CDMA around the world and future developments of the technology.

WHO: Brian O'Shaughnessy, president of the CDG and vice president of wireless technology for Bell Mobility; Greg Young, vice president of planning for the CDG and group manager, core products and platforms, Telstra; and Oliver Valente, treasurer of the CDG and CTO for Sprint PCS, will join Perry LaForge, executive director of the CDG, during the online discussion.
