Who will be paying Enron's massive legal bills...?

How could Enron's Board fail to provide any reasonable oversite...? Enron created a regulatory black hole and no one seems to have held the management team accountable. IMHO, Enron's Board and its accountants were asleep at the switch or were committing fraud and just trying to keep quiet about it. Enron's 'perfect storm' is starting to demonstrate a PERVASIVE FAILURE of good corporate governance.

Those that are truly accountable should pay a price (and i'm not just talking about paying back ALL the money they made illegally off of stock options)...It's a good thing I'm not the judge...=)

Regards,

Scott
