Dan, et al, Gold was mentioned this past week in the Commodities Corner of Barron's - first time for a long time. FWIW, Epstein devoted his Economic Beat column to arguing that the rise of the economy out of the recession will be stronger than most believe. The GMI/POG ratio: On 01/10, the Barron's GMI was 338.92 up significantly from the previous week's value of 324.28. With the POG up to 285.75 (01/12), the ratio was up to 1.19.
