Particularly when you are in a position to retire and enjoy the leisure of financial independence? I am asking you this question not only from a perspective that is different from your political 'beliefs,' but from a very practical sense. Let's take health care first. Are you going to retire from some company or the government itself with rest-of-life health/dental/pharmaceutical expenses covered so that you don't have many out-of-pocket expenses as you age? bia
