Hi Denis, Good find, thanks. The technology being discussed in the WSJ article is similar (if not identical) to what I was referring to in my post #4852 to John C. David Passmore wrote a good piece in (last month's?) Business Communications Review on the same subject. It's not on the web, so don't bother looking. Passmore was also cited in the following article in Light Reading, which gives a slightly more technical account than the WSJ did: lightreading.com We read about intelligence in the core vs. the edge. Here we have a curious mix of activities and interaction between the edge and the core. I suspect that something canonical is being violated here in someone's book.
