Keith,
If you have ever been to a PCS store, you would agree the only information you can get about the phone is printed on the card in front of you.
While true, the phone is still labeled "3G" and the average consumer, who knows about "3G", has an idea of the benefits of 3G; however, those benefits are not featured within that particular phone. Therefore, that consumer might feel "mislead"
Most people that walk into a PCS store don't own a share of Qualcomm, so they don't share your zeal for 3G or CDMA2000 phones.
Possibly, but using your analogy, I'll assume that most have not heard of 3G. Therefore, some have. And, of these "some people", wouldn't you agree that their education of 3G varies? Therefore, at least one of the some has "built-in" expectations of this phone. If that "at least one of the some" is not informed, they will be greatly disappointed.
A di[s]appointed consumer is a good consumer.
Sure...tell that to consumers who owned american automobiles in the 70s and 80s. Some disappointed consumers become angry. Some of these disappointed, angry consumers file lawsuits. |
