Wrong. He said the tax cuts, to come on line in the future, will REDUCE THE 10 YEAR PROJECTED SURPLUS (which by the way is wrong anyway). This year's projected deficit is due entirely to the recession, not the tiny insignificant tax cuts so far implemented.

He did say that the tax cuts were responsible for renewed budget deficits. Which is true by the way.
