Skeeter: With inventories bulging, and spot market prices retreating, the Koreans are between a rock and a very firm place. Looks like their gamble of the Spring has not paid off, but has in fact backfired. So what do they do now? Obviously they don't want big writedowns, so how about a little bluffing in the poker game? Cutting back production for a week will not meaningfully impact the glut, hence the spot market will likely "call" the bluff. All other producers hire 747's for increased shipping that week from their own fat inventories. The week will pass and the problem will remain. Best Regards, Earlie
