Bill, you have developed a construct that makes plausible the possibility that aliens are among us. Religious people are also capable of developing a construct supporting their belief that God exists. Believe that aliens are among us probably does require faith (atleast I have seen no evidence of it), but believing that they exist only requires rational speculation.
