The dim bulb defense is the best case scenario for the lead partner. I find it hard to believe that he didn't simply cave into the pressure from Enron to allow their accounting tactics to proceed. And if he did, there should be at least some evidence of the pressure Enron brought to bear and what the response to that pressure was.
