Re: SGI encouraging unpaid vacation This is absolutely false. SGI has NOT "encouraged" employees to take ANY unpaid vacation. I know. I'm an SGI employee. Well, there you have it. I guess the choice was either unpaid time-off, or burning two days of accrued vacation. Other than an "I told you so", I guess I just wanted to use the opportunity to point out that the various rosy depictions of life at SGI by employees have just as much chance of being true as of being false. SGI is a decently sized company and it is pretty hard for anyone to both be in the know and to be free enough to talk about it here on SI. My personal guess is another bad quarter, and on antcipation of that, I've got a bid in at 10. If it hits 10, I'm expecting another bounce back up. At least that's the plan...
