I've got a lot of respect for you and have followed your work for a long time but I must say I take offense at your "solution"

you're implying that because of the placement of my stop I somehow "deserved" to lose 40 points... I've done a lot of trading in the last nine months in futures contracts. This spike today was very unusual and to lose 40 points on a stop fill is unheard of in any kind of market..
