Q1 GM down a bit due to less expected rev. > 100% of profit from IAG Wireless cloes to breaking even Intel networking losses less than in Q3. Headcount down to 85K from 90K Investment loss slightly less than expected. Balance Sheet: Inventory decreased. Microprocessor Inventory BELOW target, would like to rebuild it some.Cap expenses were 7.3B in 2001. Op income $1.6B Revs and GMs for Q1 2002 as said in release. 50M net loss in equity for Q1 2002 outlook remains weak. Ready for turnaround. 0.13 and 300 mm (didn't get other words) R&D 4.1B, up from Silicon products, process tech and network Cap 5.5. 85% for mfg cap. 50% for processing, majority for 300mm. Buildings on hold. 2002 capex would have been at 6.5B if hadn't started transition to 300 mm in 2001. More 0.13 to be built in US, meaning higher tax rate. 60th consecutive profitable quarter.
