<<Popular candidates for discussion are NTAP and QCOM for example.>>

So, dFL, whither (or is it wither) QCOM? I got called out of QCOM at 50 two months ago and I see I can now buy it back for $46 and change. Good time to reenter here at 8 bucks above its low for the last several years?

Buy/write:
Buy QCOM @46.55, sell Apr 45 Call for 6.60
12.5% return in 94 days if called.
Breakeven $40.

LEAPS spread (CC with LEAPS substitution for the equity):
Buy Jan '04 35 LEAPS Call for 22.60, sell Feb 50 Call for $1.70
7.5% in 31 days with some chance for capital appreciation.

I haven't done anything but am just looking at possibilities.
