Tony, Re: "Paul O. said the answer was the same, with and without the X-Box being considered (market share?)."

That probably means that X-BOX volumes were small compared to total volumes. Paul also claimed that Intel set a new record in terms of CPU shipments, which was in the low double-digits growth from the last quarter. Intel sold around 28M CPUs last quarter, and a 12% increase would give them 31.3M units. (Is that a new record?) Paul also expected about a 1-2% gain in market share, meaning that they expect AMD unit shipments to be between 7.8M and 8.3M units. If AMD announces much more than 8.3M, then Intel would have lost market share last quarter. I can believe AMD could announce things as having gone either way tomorrow, but I wouldn't take a gain in market share by AMD as bad news for Intel. It seems that both companies had a great fourth quarter.
