Joe, great strategy! BTW have you read Wade Cook's "Wall St Money Machine"? he advocates selling calls on companies priced around 15 a share, reducing cost basis while making money in any type of market. A friend of my has been doing that for a while and has been averaging 5-10% a month, with little risk. as for myself i did the following: on 6/9: B 1500 ODP at 17.25, S 15 ODP Jul 17.5 at 3 today B 17.5s for 3/16 S Jul 12.5 for 3 I dont care if the stock gets taken away, dont think it will 2 weeks to exp but hey if it does too bad as i'm not in love with this stock. broke even and made a little $ as well (and made my broker happy). other possibly good buy-writes: ABTI, OMPT and NETC. let me know what you think! have fun, Olivier
