I am just mentioning what I find to be relevant. I'm not the official astn historian. I don't have to do a family tree of every member of management here. That's your job to ramble on and on about meaningless bits of information.

I posted the 1999 pr before which shows their original relationship. Obviously kingsway expected to make money with uttc and other astn divisions and htey made nothing. They did the only thing they could do which is convert.

Yes, the shares are for investment purposes and yes they filed with the SEC. They need to make back their money from teh uttc mess. They will probably hype up the shares and sell them. They already released a PR stating that they will be introducing evwap to hong kong. If no one is using it in the US, why would they use it in Hong Kong? They already hyped it with that bit of news. I really doubt that evwap will do well in Hong Kong if they had to pay people to use it here. I'm sure that PR is what sent the stock up.

They joined up with astn at the same time Valentine did. They are out of the same places Canada and British Virgin Islands. I believe there could be a connection. Perhaps they are "friendly."

As there is no other real news out there I can only assume that Kingsway is hyping the shares to get out or Fred is doing the ole positive rumor before bad news. Notice also volume has been up. I personally believe that Kingsway will probably try to sell all those shares into this little rally. Time will tell who is right or wrong. So far, mst, you have been very very wrong and my projections have been more in line with reality.
