Do so many people in your country hate Israel that they would print this swill, or buy it?

I don't think people necessarily hate Israel. I believe it's more to do with support of the underdog. The smaller weaker folk being abused by a stronger nation. The papers cater for that view. I don't think many people are aware that Israelis only target combatants, while the Palestinians target civilians. You have to read message boards to find that out. It's just seen as Israel has some unwanted Arab citizens, has herded them together, and wants to kick them out. Very few are aware of the history.

Anyone who looks at a map though will see Israel as a perilously small Nation.

In fact, if I was an Israeli, I would want to see the West Bank and the Gaza strip absorbed into Israel.

Trouble is, both those areas are full of Palestinians, and you don't want those guys on the electorate, as the nation would then be majority Arab.

The Catholics in Northern Ireland were given a bad deal too. When the border was drawn, it encompassed the maximum amount of territory, but ensured that the electorate was still a majority Protestant. There was then active government bigotry for jobs, education etc.

Few realize the difficulties the Jews have gone through, and their desire for a Nation.

How difficult would it be for all the Palestinians to relocate to Jordan? Is their such a thing as "empty land" these days?
