RE: cartoons. I find Boondocks to be too cynical with no light, for my tastes. ucomics.com I miss the days when I could count on Doonesbury, Shoe, Outland, Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes. Oh there's other cartoons not tackling much serious stuff, but I much prefer those that do. I agree on Herblock & Dilbert, though didn't Herblock just die? Which leaves me Dilbert, Doonesbury and these newer entries: ucomics.com salon.com and for my weird side: redmeat.com ucomics.com Btw, if you like editorial cartoonists, you might wanna run through this list, checking at least the Pulitzer winners (stars) and the 'must-sees' (pencils): cagle.slate.msn.com
