(NASDAQ:CELL), one of the leading providers of outsourced services in the global wireless telecommunications and data industry.
The new agreements expand distribution of Sierra Wireless products in every Brightpoint region around the world. Brightpoint plans to distribute Sierra Wireless products to wireless carriers, retailers, and value added resellers (VARS) in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America regions, as well as New Zealand and Australia beginning the first quarter of 2002. Under a separate existing agreement announced in May 2001, Brightpoint continues to distribute Sierra Wireless products in North America.

Under the agreements, Brightpoint will distribute Sierra Wireless data modems and software products including the Sierra Wireless AirCard® 555 for CDMA-1xRTT networks and the Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 for GSM/GPRS networks. Sierra Wireless products are recognized for superior performance, reliability, and support while providing wireless connectivity to the Internet, corporate intranets, and e-mail.
