I erred when I called Enron's actions in California a blackmail scheme. It's not like they said "Give us higher utility bills or we'll expose that Hollywood accounting is as loose as Arthur Andersen"'s. No it was an extortion scheme, they pushed the other players out of the way and said "Give us higher utility bills or we'll put your lights out!".
