Alan,
I think that there are a lot of investors who feel that someone else (often referred to as "they") knows more than they do, has "insider secrets", etc. When a stock declines the way that TRNT has declined, they immediately suspect that there is something "wrong" with the stock.
I've seen this phenominon in action. I've been the CFO of a perfectly healthy company and have watched its price drop, for reasons that I did not really understand. I have taken calls from investors who were trying to find the "secret" behind the drop, but of course, I didn't have any secret to give them. I was buying the stock however.
I hope to meet with TransNet early next week and get to know their management a bit better. I've talked with Steve Wilk, its President, on the phone, and I don't feel that there are any intrinsic problems with the company.
