Bill, sounds kind of gloomy. I think my own view has been distorted by where I work. The Galleria is still doing pretty good, but, then, you can watch Tara Lipinsky practice at the skating rink and it is a destination trip for Latin Americans of means. Got to spend those Argentinos somewhere. <g> On the weekend, I looked at a couple of the other, lesser malls and they looked much like what you reported.

You hit on one thing that's important: if I see a Staples across the street from an Office Depot, I'm going to check their sales. The cheapest one gets my biz. If I see a Circuit City, Best Buy and Gateway store in close proximity, I think the profit margin on pcs may be a wee mite puny. g>
