Joseph, RE: merril flynch valuation sh!t AGAIN Nothing in your link says anything about Merrill Lynch being negative on Intel as a result of the capex. In fact, Merrill Lynch continues to have its highest rating on Intel. And in regards to the capital equipment makers, the lower capex number is indeed a negative. You seem to imply that you think that Merrill Lynch should ignore valuation for some reason. They tried that in 1999 and 2000, and it didn't work too well.
