Another Iso tale -
There is a fairly good poster "value trader" on the Iso thread. On 1/10/02, towards the close, he says he sold some gassers - CRK and CRZO. Right? Nothing from nutsy. Only boasting about his numbers, usual crap.
On 1/11/02, at noon, after they open down, Iso says to the value guy "Bailing on all those gassers positions now looks like inspired timing on our part!" Suddenly it is a group effort - thanks to real time posting we know now he sold his stocks too - the day before.
What is more amazing are the prices he got. He sold his CRZO for 4.30. It didn't trade there on the 10th, at all, the high was 4.28. The CRK he says he got 7.38 for - the high was 7.25.
So let's say he sold them on the 11th - which is what he might claim - though his post made clear that "we" sold them the day before.
CRZO only traded 14,000 shares on the 11th, very few over 4.25 - so for him to average 4.30, he must of had a total position of about 200 shares. Of a 4 dollar stock. CRK traded 50,000, high was 7.45 - again where not a lot traded. But if every print up there was him selling, then I guess he could have gotten 7.38 - but not more than a couple thousand.
But it gets better.
In the same post where he claims to have sold the day before, he says "As usual, "the tape tells all". And Tuesday and Wednesday it was sure hitting me up the side of the head that something more than warm temps were on the way."
Oh yes the tape does tell all, unfortunately the "Looser" has never heard of time and sales records. |
