It's interesting. I heard a report on the radio this morning, saying that the postal carriers were using the "middle" speed. Apparently the Segway has three speeds, a slow training speed, a middle safe speed, and and expert speed about 18 mph. Assuming these folks can complete their rounds faster, they can use fewer employees, then the current $8K prices can be justified. They are also talking about "beat" police using the device. John
