WDJ, The power companies seem to have shut off the spending valve. For Example, FWC got killed yesterday when they sent out a PR stating they were going to delay payments on some notes due in January until April....

Everyone is desperately conserving cash and the service providers like FLR and FWC will be squeezed. This is a unique period where temperate weather + low commodities + depressed growth are all in alignment.

The forthcoming lows in these stock prices should establish a longer term bottom IMHO.

Another power company too watch is AES. They were the poster child for international growth and should be a good indicator for any up turn.
