I remember reading about their follies, and the writer ended by saying, " ... any goverment that can engineer a coal shortage and a fish shortage at the same time on an island made of coal must know what they are doing ..." LOL

Didn't the pound at one time represent 16 oz of silver? It sure hasn't done too well during the last three years of gold sales.
