"Red-Faced Over Black History Plaque
At its annual Martin Luther King Day celebration, Lauderhill, Fla., plans to present actor James Earl Jones with a plaque featuring prominent black American historical figures. Just one problem: The plaque was erroneously inscribed: "Thank you James Earl Ray for keeping the dream alive." James Earl Ray, of course, was the man who assassinated Dr. King.

Herbert Miller, whose company made the plaque, explains: "We have a lot of people who don't speak English. Accidentally, one of the girls who doesn't know James Earl Jones from a man on the moon accidentally typed James Earl Ray." Miller offers to fix the plaque."
