I would argue that Enron and all those dotcoms made up a lot more than 1% of the total market that were tremendously overvalued for several years. That is only stuff that surfaced so far.

I suspect that the market is not that efficient. If it were - those Nobel Laureates at LTCM, or people like you, would have it figured out.

The market is probably somewhat like the people that make up this thread. A little wisdom, here and there, some fear, some optimism, a few lies here and there, and a fair share of deeply disturbed individuals <gggg>. I am amazed that at times we all get somethings right - but that would be the exception.

I would argue that the market is wrong all the time, but corrections are taking place all the time and lags reality.
