Hmm... if I'm not mistaken, AMD claimed 21.7% at the end of last quarter, and now they are claiming 20%. I guess I believe in the Tooth Fairy.

You have to look at it on a yearly basis now.

Jerry says Intel will not widen the clock speed delta any more than what it is now (1.67 vs. 2.2). Intel breakaway strategy? Huh! AMD breaks away in 2003 with hammer. I'm bookmarking this one, especially for the 1.67 vs. 2.2 part. That was from a Damn Niles question. He's fawning and gushing all over with the great quarter, etc. Hey, they still lost money, didn't they? Expect an upgrade from Niles.

Edit. Jerry says AMD can make money in Q2 with the revs they just produced (950). Cost cutting I guess. So, if they sink to 900 in Q1, they need to jump back up about 6% in Q2.
