I was "feeling" that the level of SI sophistication has gone up. I had seen, through various threads, a higher level of bearishness lately that does not always jive with wall street:

I'm thinking if they survived the last 2 year and are still here, they have something going for them between the ears (not including me of course).

Now if I see a higher level of bearishness, I'm more likely to sit-up and notice.

Food for thought, of course I could be wrong.
