Maybe a better question is where is the phantom SOI?

Did you hear Hector mention that they have received favorable results on SRAM and memory devices, but they haven't yet moved onto logic? WTF? Haven't moved onto logic? Yet?

He also said that he expects revenue shipments with SOI by the end of the year. It looks like Barton got pushed out. It also looks like Hammer got pushed out, since not once did they mention 2002 and Hammer in the same sentence. It was always 2003 and Hammer. But we already knew this.

Also, since they expect first silicon on Hammer pretty soon (I guess it taped out a month or so ago), can we expect that this will be on bulk si, since AMD does not have their SOI act together? Could this delay Hammer further, since they will have to tape out once again on SOI?
