I found this on the FORE thread: LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES and GENERAL DATACOMM INDUSTRIES INC said they will sell asynchronous transfer mode technology to the Dutch Koninklijke PTT Nederland. "We're supplying 85 switches at $50,000 each and Lucent is the integrator," a General DataCom spokeswoman said. The technology will enable the Dutch telecommunications company to deliver high-speed internet access to subscribers, General DataCom said. (Reuters 11:24 AM ET 07/01/97)
