Didn't the Mexicans poison the Costa Rican team? That's what I heard.<g> Maybe it was just the inferior sanitary conditions that left the Costa Rican Team with debilitating diarrhea until they started taking their own food, AND COOKS!!! Anyhow, I have a home in Costa Rica, on the less travelled, less commercial, caribe/afro-caribe side. Once you get to C/R no travel agent will send you there because there is still a great deal of racial prejudice, and they see it as somewhat daring/dangerous to go there. Besides, the ICT tourism department gets 15% of gross on all recipts for any hotel that they are affiliated with, and 14% of $50-$100 is preferable to 15% of $10-$20.
