More on biased coverage: The Washington Post today gave an op-ed space to Marwan Barghouti. They politely refer to him as "general secretary of Fatah on the West Bank ... elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council" The latter title is essentially meaningless as the Palestinian Legislative Council is non-functional. Barghouti's real title is head of the Tanzim militia. In the intifada division of labor, the Tanzim have been responsible for shooting civilians for the crime of driving an Israeli car on the road. They shot one more today, but oops, she was an Arab. Fatah also makes targeting mistakes, I guess. In his op-ed, Barghouti says "I am not a terrorist". I'm sure that will be such a comfort to the his victims' relatives. washingtonpost.com
