Rising DDR Prices Spur Rambus Resurgence

As if to give DDR diehards another kick, Intel's new 0.13-micron Pentium 4 Northwood performs better on the old i850/RDRAM platform than with the i845D and other new DDR options. This probably has more to do with the superb dual-channel i850 chipset than the memory used, but now that RDRAM costs no more, the i850 looks like the best match for the Pentium 4/2.2.
