Does it strike ANYONE else as funny that 95% of everyone is bullish, yet the market can't go higher? If 95% are bullish and buying, then WHO is selling to them? My guess is the SMART 5% are being led to sell (distribute) by their bankers and brokers (all on the sly of course because it is this 5% who make the brokers all their money -- at least MUST be kept happy -- the 95% always come crawling back). It is not only a shame, but should be a crime, for brokers to recommend to "good, big" clients to sell, while publicly telling the masses and their "good, smaller" clients to buy. They know there will be a huge move to the downside, and the people who matter will be there to scoop up the bargains as they always are. The smaller 95% will have ZERO money left -- except their SCARED money which will never make it back in in time. People paying multiples like INTC in the PC business is not just ignorant, but criminal because they are being LED by those they TRUST.

p.s. And this scenario assumes that there will be ZERO natural disasters (this is a pipe dream in 2002, IMO), ZERO terrorism, ZERO mid east war, ZERO trouble from Argentina, ZERO problems from China and Russia, ZERO catastrophe once IRAQ is involved, etc. etc. etc. It's going to be SAD singing and SLOW marching for millions of "investors". |
