Look on the bright side fellas...

...at least no one's taken a chunk out of our ears.

But tomorrow's panic-sellers will have a chunk taken out their wallets.

I see a low of perhaps 6 tomorrow, with a close of maybe 6 3/8. Holding 10,000 shares, I am not a happy camper right now. But I am also not going to sell any shares at this level.

Well, after three quarters of upside surprises, I suppose we were due for a downside surprise. At least our ant squirreled away some profits the last three quarters to tide it over.

Right now I'm more interested in what the company plans to do about lagging monitor sales. Do they have a plan? I don't care whether it's an industry-wide downturn or a CRNR marketing problem; either way it's time to kick ass in the marketing department.

The market might suspend harsh judgment of CRNR because of the software side news. If CRNR were able to maintain its 67% growth rate in software revenues (a BIG if), its revenues on the software side would approach $14 million by 2-Q 2000.

Even assuming a sustained growth rate in software revenues (and putting aside software margin questions), CRNR must focus on its hardware side marketing problem. If the hardware ship is sinking (another BIG if), there will not be enough software lifeboats to save the passengers (us CRNR longs).
