Terry,
Did you really write, "I mistook you [Slider] for someone with a modicum of integrity. Sorry, won't happen again."
Up until that moment, I didn't think it was possible to write "Slider" and "integrity" together in a sentence, not even an interrogative. Several months ago I asked this thread if there was ANYONE who believed ANYTHING Slider wrote. The silence was deafening. Not one person. Now, there may be folks who think Jane is wrong, or you're wrong, or Dabum is missing the boat, but there would at least be one or two who would step up and say, "Yeah, I generally believe what the guy says."
Not one peep for Slider, not one stand-up guy for this truly "stand up" guy. On an unmoderated thread. Let's not even go near Isomensa.
Modicum of integrity? The Sage of Chicago with the supermodel girl friend, the Lamborghini, the private jet to Banf, the guy who has called every market turn since Darwin sailed on the Beagle, the guy who drinks $500 bottle wine with $39.99 Virginia Ham--vot exactly is you saying? Is der a little credibility gap vit der Slider? Vell, I'm no chenius, but by golly I tink der is a big gapper vit der Slider. Looks like der Grand Canyon.
