Elmer, they have $380 million in inventory. What do you think that means? CPUS in Jerry's closet? Could be Flash or slow CPUs, but if it's highspeed Athlons are you sure you want to go there? If it is then during the busiest quarter of the year, with the performance lead and the competition unable to meet demand, AMD could only sell half the processors they are capable of making from their lead fab and still lost money. What's going to happen during the slower quarters when AMD's lost the performance crown and the competition CAN meet demand? You really want to go there? EP
