Thanks, John, Tom, Cal - I guess HC has taken a cue from Canadian tradition - instead of doing something, they'll "study" the matter.

On efficacy/safety, pretty clear that no one expects any surprises - and, right Cal, the COX II news is all good, for Pennsaid.

Hoping for FDA news around end of January to mid Feb. That should break the log jam.

Looking at the TA (of which there are several variants on the two threads) I remain optimistic. Oxo Chemie and WF10 have perhaps added major (and unanticipated) new costs - so the Acqua draws will continue as a price depressor.

When I get the chance to watch in real-time, I see the interplay between the Three A's, the MM, and the traders as some kind of exquisite ballet. IMO, the Three A's are "calibrating" their activity to allow the price to rise incrementally. That is, they are not killing the Golden Goose. There is still a reasonable "demand" for the stock, and they are choosing not to drive the price down: probably related to their preference for a price channel.

Given that the Three A's could, with undisciplined activity, drive the price 'way down, I regard the TA as somewhat artificial, but that's just MO.

So far, a well-played game, actually - September '01 excepted: who could have foreseen that month?

More cause for patience, than pessimism.

Regards,

Jim
