There are quite lovely perks to being associated with a university. I take classes at night at George Mason, which gives me access, not only to the university library, but to most of the university libraries in DC, including George Washington, American and Catholic. I also have access to a lot of online databases, including Lexis, and Jstor, which has full text articles in scholarly journals going back to the 19th century downloadable via Adobe Acrobat. Not to mention the gym, the pool, the theater, etc.

At first it was difficult for me to tolerate sitting still and listening to a lecture for hours at a time again, but I've redeveloped the knack.
