Hallelujah! Pakistan has finally, officially, even forcefully declared an end to the shameful period of our history dominated by psychotic, semi-literate, pseudo-Muslims. Thank you, Chief, for not listening to those who would put 140 million lives on the line in the blind belief that an armed believer can play football with a Daisy Cutter. At last, the long shadow cast upon Pakistan by the late dictator, Gen Ziaul Haq, has begun to recede. Maybe, just maybe, it could it be that the official version of our country might soon start looking something like the one Dr Iqbal and Mr Jinnah had in mind. |
