John,

This is my first message on the S.I. As a start, I knew a John Murphy
at Cominco's traffic department in Vancouver, any connection?

Secondly, I have followed Goldminco since it was Subloo and am heavily
invested in it. In the light of this particular market with Goldminco
I draw strength from two particular items:

1. On Febr. 22 a non-brokered private placement was taken
out by Peter Tambanis' family and directors/friends where they all
committed in excess of $ 1.15 million for the purchase of 1,578,081 shares
@ 73 cents.
While Peter may have been overcome by a bout of initial euphoria with
the early trenching results,it is apparent to me that he was instrumental
in pursuading friends and family to support his venture. Taken in that
light, and assuming that a group of people who can raise in excess of
a million dollars were not born yesterday, I must assume that there was
substantial evidence of potential success early on.

2. I have quite a portfolio of junior exploration companies
(many of them bought for the wrong reasons) and most of them have their
fat-cat president never leaving his office on Howe Street. Peter
Tambanis on the other hand is a working president and a professional
geologist and by all accounts out in the field leading his troops.
Both his money and his integrity are obviously at stake and he is
doing his best to preserve and enhance both.

I will close this epistle by saying that most of us have been caught
with our pants down by this market but I have enough trust and faith in
Peter Tambanis and Gordon Hunter to feel that Goldminco as a stock was
a worthwhile investment and will certainly ride out the present gold/
mining down cycle. I am truly sorry for those of us who are forced to
sell right now due to their particular financial situation. These prices
don't get much better (from a buyer's perspective!)

Regards,

HPJ
