The "weakness" that you perceive in liberals is actually a sign of evolution. The liberal recognizes that violence begets obedience only short term, and that long term, the end product is more violence.

This is absolute nonsense. There can be no measure of the number of lives that were saved by the Gulf War, a very violent, if one-sided, affair. Similarly, we'll never know how many lives were saved by the current war against terrorism.

On the other hand, we need only look back as far as Vietnam to see a harsh reminder of what weak, liberal leadership brings us: 50,000 American kids dead.

Aside from the bogus issue of the economy, in 1980 nuclear proliferation was the liberal outcry. Yet, strong, conservative leadership brought the threat to its knees.

In short, you can't provide a single example in the last 40 years where a liberal has had significant foreign policy accomplishments. Why? Because with liberalism comes weakness, and with weakness comes foreign policy failure. At the same time, conservatives can to point to a long history of foreign policy successes born of strong leadership.
