The reason they hold so many treasuries is because we send them so many dollars and they have to do sumptin' with them. I don't see how that flow of dollars is going to end any time soon (pick up anything in a Walmart, see made in China)....but they may be looking to try to trade into some other form of reserve (ie. gold and Euros).
