MSFT just reported GAAP numbers, but CNBC said "Ok, first call is telling us to ignore those numbers and go with a pro-forma figure that they've calculated."

WHAT THE FUCK!!?!??!!??!?!

Even if a company decides they won't mislead investors, CNBC and first call will refuse to use the GAAP numbers and instead figure out what the pro-forma numbers "should" be?

Does anyone know what happened to integrity on wall street? Do they take investors for complete and utter idiots?

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on CNBC. Even worse than the $1000 per share Qualcomm pimping analyst guest.. This officially takes the fucking cake!

And no, I'm not short MSFT.
